Guidelines To Follow For The University Of Oklahoma Scholarships

While applying for any of the scholarships, there are a few guidelines that the candidates must follow. Firstly, it must be noted that the scholarship is awarded as a waiver in place of the tuition. However, it does not apply to any kind of summer tuition. Also, it cannot be used to pay any fees like enrollment deposit, payment for housing or correspondence courses other than the tuition fees. A student is applicable to receive only one merit-based scholarship. In case a student graduates early, the remaining semester funds are forfeited. Lastly, if a candidate has registered for less than 12 hours during their last semester, the scholarship amount will be calculated in proportion to the reduced tuition fees, for which they must also fill out a Special Conditions Form. 

It must be noted that the scholarship amount cannot be used via the Sooner Rose Programme and through the OU Law School, Graduate College, OU Health Sciences Center graduate studies, OU-Tulsa campus, or at any other institution.
